With over 4,092,730 miles of public road in America spanning from pavement, dirt, gravel and cobble stones. There's no wonder why America has some of the world's most breath taking cycling routes! Whether it be a city ride to the Empire State or using every last breath to scale a 14,000 foot dead-end mountain, it's no wonder this nation has adventure lying around every bend. The best way to experience those roads is, of course, on a bicycle, with the wind in your hair, spandex gripping and RearViz on hand

Number one on our list is one for the thrill seekers...

A Ride Through Time, Utah

STATS:

  • Starts From: Bryce, UT

Riding from the Lofty Bryce (7,500 feet) through to the tiny farming towns of Cannonville and Henriville this ride will take you on a glorious journey through the slopes and views of the Grand Canyon. If you're a thrill seeker for adventure and a gorgeous view then this ones just for you! The entire ride consists of everlasting canyons, cosmic pinnacles and National Parks. Along your way you'll find; forest country, stratified cliffs and ancient granaries giving you an inside to the incredible history that is America.

Gran Fondo, New York

You probably would'nt believe me when I say there's a cycling 'peaceful' cycling route right in the midst of New York City. Well, there is! This ride hugs the leafy two lane roads that follow the Hudson River from the frenetic streets of Manhattan. This route follows a very popular cycling event mapped out course, ensuring the best views and the best roads for your entire journey!

Mt. Evans Climb, Colorado

STATS:

  • Distance: 27.6 miles
  • Elevation Gain: 6,789 feet
  • Starts From: Idaho Springs, CO

Ever wanted to ride the highest paved road in the entire of America? This route will take you on a journey to do just that! Overlooking the wave of Rockies to one direction, turn your head 180 degrees and you'll be looking out at the endless Eastern Plains on the other. Ride from Idaho Springs, through Aspen, past Echo Lake and ending at the famous summit. You'll need to make sure your brakes are working in full swing because the downward journey is said to be a 'feel like a kid again' roller coaster back to the bottom!

Going-to-the-Sun Road, Montana

  • Starts From: West Glacier, MT

The lyrics of the sound of music's "The Hills are alive with the sound of music" will resonate through your mind at you cycle through the beautiful landscape of Montana. This ride is not only for the adventurer but also the animal lover. Along the way you may find mountain goats, bighorn sheep and other wildlife around each corner. Along with the animals you'll see some of the prettiest views America has to offer with the toothy peaks in your view, wildflowers growing along the roadside edge and glacial lakes meandering along the way.

Crater Lake Loop

  • Elevation Gain: 3,892 feet
  • Starts From: Rim Village, Crater Lake National Park

Immerse yourself in the rich culture history of American agriculture and natural land formations.
