Philippines is one of the country in South East Asia that you might one to visit and explore. Just like their 7, 700 islands there are thousand of reasons why you might want to include this to your travel bucket list.

The Philippines is a vast country stretching across the North Pacific Ocean; a land of ancient tribes, mysterious jungles, active volcanoes and chocolate hills, epic parties, and uninhabited islands. 

It's been a home for so many beautiful beaches, adrenaline pumping activities and some of the most friendly, genuine, people in all of Asia; the Philippines truly captured my heart. I have to say, it is one of the easiest countries in the world to travel around as the locals are so friendly.

If you are planning to visit this place first time, then here are some guide for you to visit and explore.

What place to visit?

  • Hike The Rice Terraces - Hike through the 8th wonder of the world and stand in awe at the ingenuity of the Ifugao people who hand carved these mountains.

  • Sunset Paraw Ride - Hop on a tri-man sail boat and go for a sunset sail through some of the most vivid and colorful sunsets you have ever seen. Come and enjoy the beauty of Boracay.Boracay
  • Visit Coron, El Nido and Nacpan Beach - While in Palawan, visit the enchanting beach of Coron and El Nido and make your way to Nacpan Twin Beach and hike up the mountain to this stunning viewpoint. Make the most out of the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches by island hopping around these tropical waters.Coron
  • Visit Mayon Volcano - Marvel at the perfect cone-shaped volcano located in the province of Albay.Mayon Volcano
  • Go to Chocolate Hills - Marvel at this geological wonder as you see over 1700 hills spread across a 50 sq. kilometer area. chocolate hills
  • Swim with Whaleshark - While also available in Oslob, Cebu, the whale shark tours in Donsol is much more sustainable and comes highly recommended.
  • Dance the day away during one of the many street festivals like AtiAtihan, Sinulog, Dinagyan.

You must also try to eat "Balut", often sold in the streets as a snack, a boiled duck embryo eaten with salt and vinegar. And "Adobo", their national dish consist of pork or chicken. Yummy!

There are lot of things to experience and beautiful places to visits. No matter where you go, you should be able to find some beautiful beach and epic diving, amazing views and delicious delicacies. The country has a lot to offer and truly live to their saying "It's more fun in the Philippines".
